Privacy and Protection of Personal Data

In order to provide better service to its valued customers, AKAR RULMAN TİC. VE PAZ. LTD. ŞTİ. may request certain personal information (such as name, age, interests, e-mail address, etc.).

The information collected on our servers is used solely within AKAR RULMAN TİC. VE PAZ. LTD. ŞTİ. for purposes such as campaign announcements, promotions tailored to customer profiles, and customer classification activities aimed at preventing unsolicited e-mails.

Information collected through membership forms shall not be shared with third parties, used for commercial purposes, or sold without the explicit consent of the member or unless otherwise instructed by the member.

Visitor activities and preferences during website usage may be analyzed and interpreted. Such statistical data does not contain personal information and may be shared with our business partners solely for the purpose of improving services provided to our customers.

Personal information may only be disclosed to official authorities upon duly authorized request and in accordance with applicable legal regulations.

Customers may only access and modify the information they enter into the system themselves. It is not possible for any other person to access or modify such information.

Credit card information entered during payment transactions is protected by the highest level of security measures. Such information is never stored on the servers of AKAR RULMAN TİC. VE PAZ. LTD. ŞTİ. All payment transactions are carried out directly between the user and the bank via the AKAR RULMAN interface.

Your Rights Under the Turkish Data Protection Law

Pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, our members may apply to AKAR RULMAN TİC. VE PAZ. LTD. ŞTİ. to exercise the following rights:

To learn whether their personal data is processed,
To request information if their personal data has been processed,
To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
To learn the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
To request correction of incomplete or inaccurately processed data,
To request deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with relevant legislation,
To request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction to third parties to whom data has been transferred,
To object to any unfavorable result arising from automated data analysis systems,
To request compensation if damage is suffered due to unlawful processing of personal data.

AKAR RULMAN TİC. VE PAZ. LTD. ŞTİ. shall respond to such requests in writing or digitally with a reasoned explanation.

If fulfilling the request requires additional costs, a fee may be charged in accordance with Article 13 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
